wikipedia:Netdata, first released in 2013 is a software for distributed, real-time, performance, health monitoring and alerting for systems and applications.
Features:
- One second granularity resolution metrics
- Alerting: Email alerts, planned to add support to Slack
- Modular design with plugin support[1], for example diskspace plugin and proc plugin[2]
