udisksctl utility for manipulating disk drives and block devices. Included in the udisk2 package.

Usage

To manually mount a removable drive, for example /dev/sdc:

$ udisksctl mount -b /dev/sdc1
Mounted /dev/sdc1 at /media/root/backup.

To manually unmount:

$ udisksctl unmount -b /dev/sdc1
