Secure Shell (SSH) is a cryptographic network protocol for connecting to ssh network services providing encrypted communication and authentication. Most popular implementation is open source OpenSSH.
OpenSSH includes the following binaries:
ssh, ssh client to connect using Secure Shell protocolscp, a replacement for obsoleted rcpsftp, a replacement for not encrypted ftpsshd, the SSH server daemonssh-keygen, a tool to inspect and generate the RSA, DSA and Elliptic Curve keys that are used for user and host authenticationssh-agentssh-addssh-keyscan, to scan a list of hosts and collects their public keysssh-copy-id, to copy local keys to remote machine.
