arp[1] command displays or modifies the IP to MAC translation tables used by the Address Resolution Protocol (ARP)


Linux commands

  • View ARP Cache:
    • arp -a
    • arp -an
    • cat /proc/net/arp
  • Delete an ARP entry: arp -d 192.168.0.1

Windows commands

  • Clear ARP Cache: arp -d
