Editing Object storage

[[wikipedia:Object storage]] is a computer data storage architecture that manages data as objects, as opposed to other storage architectures like file systems which manages data as a file hierarchy, and block storage which manages data as blocks within sectors and tracks.

Amazon S3 allows users to enable or disable logging. If enabled, the logs are stored in Amazon S3 [[buckets]] which can then be analyzed. These logs contain useful information such as:

Date and time of access to requested content
Protocol used (HTTP, FTP, etc.)
HTTP status codes
Turnaround time
HTTP request message
